Understanding Reminders
Reminders help you stay on top of important people management activities by notifying you when certain development tasks are due. Starting in v1.6.0, ManagerDash includes a customizable reminders system that ensures you maintain regular touchpoints with your team members.

Types of Reminders
ManagerDash supports customizable reminder types that can be configured for different people development activities:
Default Reminder Types
- Performance Reviews: Quarterly or annual review cycles
- Career Conversations: Long-term career development discussions
- Feedback Check-ins: Reminder to review and deliver pending feedback
- Development Goal Reviews: Progress check on goals and milestone progress

Viewing Reminders
Home Dashboard:
- See all upcoming reminders across your team
- Sorted by due date
Snoozing a Reminder
If you need to postpone a reminder:
- Close the reminder by clicking on the X icon
- The reminder will snooze for 2 days
Editing reminder cadence
If you want to change a threshold for a reminders:
- Click on Settings
- Click on Teams and People
- Scroll to the "Reminder Rules" section and make changes.
- Click Save
Recommended Frequencies
Career Conversations:
- Quarterly for growth-focused discussions
- More frequent during promotion cycles
Feedback Check-ins:
- Weekly to review pending feedback
- Before scheduled 1-on-1s
Goal Reviews:
- Monthly for active goals
- Bi-weekly for complex projects
